SPRING STYLE MUST HAVES #2
By: Rachel Mchollister

SPF 15 cannot protect our eyes but a good pair of sunglasses can be the key. But, there has to be a method to picking out the perfect sunglasses. For the longest time I wanted to follow the trends. When aviators were in I needed a pair, when huge Aundrey Hepburn sunglasses were in I needed a pair. There was two problems with what I was doing, the first I was following everyone else and not finding my own and second did theses ‘trendy’ sunglasses even suite my face or look good on me. I wanted to give it one more whirl with the Rays bans, the one’s Katy Perry wears in California Girls I thought these would look great and alas I was wrong. Alas it was back to the drawing board. My face isn’t meant for big bold glasses, although sometimes I try to get away with it. Best bet for trying out glasses is to try on a bunch just because they are in style does not mean you should wear them. However, I do have to point out that when buying a pair of sunglasses they aren’t suppose to be the main statement of your entire outfit, they are an accessory. So if you like big and bold glasses opt for a dark shade of frame instead of a bright colour, it takes away from the rest of your amazing outfit. I tend to stick to neutral colours when it comes to covering my eyes and I would much rather wearing a pop of colour on my shoes or in what I’m wearing.
