Eat 4 - 6 mini meals a day. The human digestive system is designed for grazing. Eating every few hours is optimal for digestion, energy stability, healthy metabolism, appetite control and steady insulin levels.
Mini meals should ideally consist of a little protein, carbohydrate and healthy fat. An example of a mini meal breakfast would be toasted Ezekiel bread with coconut oil on top and a hard boiled organic egg. This meal is about 275 calories and provides lasting energy and satiety until your next mini meal.
