
STRENGTH TRAINING AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK
Lean muscle tissue has been referred as the “fountain of youth.” This statement is
explained from studying the Endocrine system. The hormones released during a
strength training session have an anti-aging effect. Additionally, muscles are extremely
metabolically active tissue that requires a steady supply of nutrients. Not only can
you eat more, but the muscles are burning off the extra calories for you. I have known
professional Bodybuilders to set their alarms at 2 am just to get another meal in! This
extra meal is required to feed their muscles.
